AI Automation Engineer

Build internal AI tools for a B2B advisory client: buyer research, evaluation scorecards, and briefing drafts, with a human check before anything is used outside the team.

Scale Army is hiring a contract engineer for a B2B advisory client that works with confidential client, buyer, and transaction information. The job is to design, build, and keep internal AI tools that automate research, buyer evaluation, briefing prep, and other operational workflows.

The tools pull from Streak CRM, Google Workspace, Fireflies transcripts, and internal documents. Buyer lists, scorecards, and seller-facing summaries stay behind a human review step before they are used externally. The client expects the engineer to choose the stack, including models and how the data is stored.

What you would own

• Design, test, and maintain internal AI applications and the workflows that connect them.
• Build buyer-research flows that turn listings, market data, and call transcripts into target lists and scorecards.
• Integrate Streak CRM, Google Workspace, Fireflies, and internal documents through APIs and webhooks.
• Test workflows end to end and keep human review in front of any output that leaves the team.

What they're looking for

• You have built AI applications or agent workflows past a basic chatbot, using Claude Code, Codex, or a similar coding agent.
• You write Python or JavaScript/TypeScript and have shipped APIs, integrations, and database-backed tools.
• You have used LLM APIs, structured outputs, and prompt orchestration in working systems.
• You are based in LATAM, Africa, or Eastern Europe and can work 9:00–17:00 US Eastern.

Location: LATAM, Africa, Eastern Europe · 9–5 US Eastern. Hours: Full-time hours contract (9:00–17:00 EST). Pay: $2500–3400/mo.
