Keep Workday's in-house creative agent platform running, build new role-specific agents and MCP integrations, and teach designers and writers to get value from them.

Workday's creative team already built an internal agent platform and needs a hands-on technologist to operate and extend it. About half the job is building new agents and API/MCP automations that move work from request to brief to production to review.

The other half is operations and adoption: supporting users, improving agents through pull requests, teaching non-technical creatives, and acting as the technical filter on AI vendors.

What you would own

  • Build new role-specific agents plus API and MCP integrations for the creative workflow.
  • Support users of shipped tools and improve agents through PRs.
  • Train designers and writers to use the agents well.
  • Evaluate AI vendors on architecture, security, data handling, and pricing.

What they're looking for

  • You have shipped agents or agentic workflows that real users depend on.
  • Comfortable in a repo: branches, PRs, code review, release hygiene.
  • Understand APIs, auth, webhooks, and MCP, and can map data flows before building.
  • Can teach non-technical creatives without jargon.

Location: Pleasanton, CA. Hours: Contract. Pay: Rate not listed.
